Speak when you are angry, And you will make the best speech you’ll ever regret!
Laurence J Peter.
How many of us have made this speech? How many of us would love to suck back the words which have been carelessly been uttered? ALL of us. We all have felt the ANGER, we have felt wronged and so have vented as others whether they deserved it or not. Is this the way for a Christian? What does anger accomplish other than stress, ulcers, high blood pressure, heart attacks, heart burn and headaches? We like anger when we giving it but do not like to receive it, which is an indication that it is NOT a healthy option.
Eph 4:31-32
Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger , brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
NIV

Prov 15:1
A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.
NIV
Turn the other cheek, a soft answer, a meek and gentle spirit, these are the things which fight against anger and succeed! Think how great it would be if everyone in South Africa could adopt this way to resolve disagreements!
Once again, we do not intend to ‘run’ your life for you. The choices are yours to make, but you need to know all of the facts to make a good decision. Do not just accept what has been written, read the scriptures for yourselves and see what God has said.
